Courtesy of Panasonic, live 3D coverage of the 2011 US Open was available on Comcast Xfinity 3D, DirecTV channel 103, Verizon FIOS 1 channel 1003 and Cablevision's iO TV channel 1300 during CBS Sports broadcast windows over Labor Day weekend (September 3-5) and Finals Weekend (September 9-11). Last year's US Open 3D production - the first world-wide 3D broadcast of a tennis major - was honored with a 2010 Emmy Award for technical achievement.
