    On Day 5, No. 2 seed and defending US Open champion Rafael Nadal will be in action, as well as No. 3 and 2006 champ Maria Sharapova and No. 2 Vera Zvonareva. For the night session, rising American star Christina McHale looks to keep her US Open run going against Maria Kirilenko and then Andy Roddick faces fellow American Jack Sock.

    Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley of the Grammy-award winning country band Lady Antebellum were taking in the day session Thursday in Arthur Ashe Stadium on Day 4 along with New York Mets pitcher Tim Byrdak and actors Chris McDonald and Stephen Root.

    For the night session, Adrian Grenier of Entourage and Steve Buscemi of Shea Whigham of Boardwalk Empire were watching top seeds Caroline Wozniacki and Novak Djokovic, and Emmy-award winning actor Jim Parsons from The Big Bang Theory on CBS was also in attendance as well as legendary singer Tony Bennett and Nasim Pedrad of Saturday Night Live.
